Gold Coast Women in Blues to Deliver a Powerhouse Live Showcase

The Gold Coast’s vibrant music scene will kick off 2026 with a major celebration of local talent as Gold Coast Women in Blues brings together four of the region’s most electrifying female-fronted blues bands for a one-afternoon-only performance on Saturday, 31 January, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at Mo’s Desert Clubhouse, Burleigh Heads.

The showcase highlights the strength of soulful women in the local music industry and the dynamic artistry flourishing across Southeast Queensland. Audiences can expect four hours of soulful vocals, driving rhythm sections, standout solos, and the signature grit that defines modern Australian blues. Each band brings its own flavour, from traditional blues influences to contemporary fusion and original music.

“Gold Coast Women in Blues is about spotlighting the powerhouse female vocalists and musicians in our region,” event organisers said. “This is a rare chance to see four top blues acts performing back-to-back on a fabulous stage.”

Tickets are now on sale and are expected to sell out quickly.
