Canadian hardcore heavyweights GET THE SHOT return with a devastating new single, CRUCIFIXION DEPICTION, a brutal and deeply personal confrontation with loss, failure and the painful death of a dream. The track also marks the launch of the pre-order for the band’s upcoming EP of the same name, CRUCIFIXION DEPICTION, set for release on October 23, 2026.
Rather than focusing solely on the death of another person, CRUCIFIXION DEPICTION explores another form of mourning, the moment a future you fought for collapses in front of you and you are forced to grieve the person you thought you would become. Lines such as “I’m losing everything / Is this the end of me?” capture the desperation at the heart of the track, while its imagery grows increasingly brutal as shattered ambition becomes a symbolic execution.
