- Complete Control – THE CLASH
- It may be the best ever intro, chiming guitar and stomping bass drum announce a tsunami of a song. Three chords and the truth, it’s all you need.
- Chase The Devil – MAX ROMEO
- We all love reggae but mainly stuff from the ‘70s. Makes the van a more mellow place to be.
- I Keep It To Myself – WILCO JOHNSON (w/Roger Daltrey)
- Ross’ all time hero (Wilco, not Roger!) We met him in Japan and he jumped on stage and played a song with us. What a man!
- Loose – IGGY AND THE STOOGES
- Classic Stooges, raw and in yer face. No messing about. Iggy a whoopin’ an’ a wailin’. Nothing today even comes close to this.
- Highway Patrolman – JOHNNY CASH
- Originally a Bruce Springsteen song but I think Johnny does it better. Listening to this as you drive across America…everything just makes sense.
- But After the Gig – DISCHARGE
- Johnny Cash to Discharge!!! What a leap…or maybe not. This reminds me of when we first met up with them at their best. Brutal and righteous.
- It Thing Hard-On – THE CRAMPS
- Always makes me smile when I hear The Cramps. Ivy is such an awesome guitarist and Lux is Lux. Wish they had made more music.
- Suicide – THE DAMNED
- B-Side! The Damned were so good even their B-Sides were killer. Still one of our favourite bands, always top quality Mate.
- American Girl – TOM PETTY
- I think Tom is a musical genius. Whether he’s playing, producing, or standing up for musician’s rights. Power to the people, great songs and great guitars.
- Till My Heart Stops Beating – THE GODFATHERS
- My favourite living band, so underrated it’s a crime. But still touring and still making essential rock ‘n’ roll. Check ‘em out. So there endeth our Top Ten. Have fun kids, be nice to each other”
