After the hellish year of Victorian lockdown and doubt, Frankenbok are back stronger than ever and ready to rip the roof off the Tote on August 21. Local music is in need of local support and there is no better way to come back to the fray than to see these Melbourne veterans at their strongest at one of the best venues in Melbourne.
Frankenbok have been busy recording their follow-up to the 2017 tearing album ‘Vicious, Lawless’, an as yet untitled album that sees the Bok at their most ferocious and inventive.
Now, returning to their raw sound, Frankenbok are ready to unleash a level of fury unseen since before COVID.
Frankenbok will be supported with two bands. Ballarat metalcore group Fall and Resist will be ready to slay with their authentic brand of melancholy aggressive death metal and melodic masters Escarion, fresh off their new album, are ready to forge their way in the Melbourne music scene.
“It’s been a really difficult year for the metal scene. Metal is made to be shared and moshed to. The live metal scene is like no other scene out there, and who better to headline a show like this than Bok?” said event organiser Liam ‘Frosty’ Frost-Camilleri, vocalist and guitarist of Fall and Resist.
Doors will open at 9:00 pm, August 21 at the Tote: 67-71 Johnston St, Collingwood VIC 3066
