Former Megadeth Drummer Nick Menza has passed away on stage playing with his band, Ohm. It was confirmed by Dave Mustaine via Twitter, saying: “TELL ME THIS ISN’T TRUE! I woke at 4AM to hear Nick Menza passed away on 5/21 playing his drums w/Ohm at the Baked Potato. #nickmenzarip.” Menza was just 51 years old.
Menza was best known for his work on the skins with Megadeth between 1989-1998. He recorded drums on four Megadeth albums, including the epic Rust In Peace album in 1990.
