FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Deliver Some Justice

It has been a frustrating past few years for fans of Five Finger Death Punch. The Las Vegas outfit haven’t been able to deliver a new album since 2015’s Got Your Six. It hasn’t been because of band members leaving or a lazy patch or even a heavy touring schedule, instead it has all been a wait because the band have found themselves in legal tape with a record label. Even more frustrating was the fact that the band had completed their new album and couldn’t do anything with it.

Well now that tape has been ripped off like an old band-aid and finally the band can release And Justice For None to their salivating fans and when we chatted to Jason Hook he told just how frustrating it has been for the band.

“It was very frustrating for us,” Hook says. “We had always been used to just recording an album and then putting it out there but obviously this time it didn’t work out that way, we got into a dispute with our label and there was a lot of stressful time and energy and money. Basically it was pretty unnecessary in my opinion but that is part of how it goes sometimes. But now it is resolved and we can put the album out and the fans get to hear it for the first time. It’s funny because it has been such a long time that it isn’t even fresh for us anymore. I am super excited that it is out there, I think it is strong but it has been so long that we are ready to do the next one.”

Because of the factors surrounding what has happened the band also have a very special message for their fans. “Well we want to say thank you for being patient we wanted to have this out a long time before now but now here it is and we hope you dig it because we are very proud of it and we appreciate your support so go out and buy it on May 18th… we certainly appreciate it.

Five Finger Death Punch’s And Justice For None is out on May 18th, you can hear the whole interview right here.
