Winston Churchill‘s life has been well-covered in film, but our modern cinematic culture allows for a more frank, genuine telling of these grand figures’ lives. So is the project of Darkest Hour, starring Gary Oldman as Churchill himself. Ben Mendelsohn, Kristin Scott Thomas, and Stephen Dillane (Game of Thrones) also feature in the movie’s star lineup.
