Feeling Invincible with CROSSON

Share This:

“I’m a big KISS fan, and Paul Stanley once said that when they put the band together he wanted to make it something he wanted to see,” explained Jason Crosson, guitarist for Sydney Glam metal warriors Crosson on the bands look and approach to music, “so that was what I basically used for the concept with Crosson. Nothing bores me like seeing a band up there and on their toes in street clothes. We want to provide a visual as well as great music and we thought we would add the visual aspect to it so we have some female dancers that come out and do some costume changes so you’re constantly looking at the show. You’re not looking at your watch going ‘I want to go home’ or anything like that. That’s the idea – great rock, but also an entertaining spectacle as well.”

After the release of ‘Invincible’ earlier this year, Crosson are looking to expand their Australian market, after considerable overseas success. In the full interview Jason discusses how they plan to do that, the reason’s behind why he took the band in the ’80’s Glam direction, a bit of a history on the band, what to expect from a typical Crosson live show, the Glam scene in Australia and the difficulties in almost having to create your own market plus more.
