With new track $$ THE PRICE TO PAY Austrian metalcore outlet Feeding The Wolves have released their most aggressive song to date.
This song marks quite a shift from the band’s debut album Antagonist. The four-piece group decided not to add any clean vocals or overly melodic parts this time. The song focuses on what the band considers to be their biggest strenghts: intense false chord screams and catchy guitar riffs.
The song is also pointing to their Feeding The Wolves roots quite a bit. It could easily be considered an updated version of their tune Wargasm, which is a fan favorite.
“‘$$ THE PRICE TO PAY’ was born out of frustration about the super rich continuously taking advantage of the misery in the world in many aspects. Luxurious mansions and executive jets always come at the cost of suffering. These people are willing to pay any price (or let others pay it) to preserve their lifestyle.” says guitarist Dimitry Sima about the lyrics.
