Bus tubes, sold as innovative transport models by the city of Curitiba/Brazil, were taken over by a sonic and collective collision in the latest release from the Paraná band Favourite Dealer, which transformed an ordinary urban environment into an intimate stage, where everything happens up close, just as the band believes it should be.
The choice of setting is not random. The bus tube, a symbol of urban routine, becomes a breaking point, the place where the everyday meets the strange and dreams of freedom, and where the common can quickly transform into a spectacle, something that combines with the song Freak Show, which carries that same essence.
The track conveys chaos and oscillates between weight and tension, with an authentic approach, exploring the feeling of being exposed, observed, and, at the same time, displaced in a horror show, reinforcing the band’s raw and direct identity, a sound that doesn’t try to please everyone, but also doesn’t hide behind labels.
