The world famous Great Stage Park in Manchester, Tennessee, which serves as the site for this little mainstream music festival you may have heard of called Bonnaroo, will be hosting the inaugural EXIT 111 Festival in just a mere few weeks.
EXIT 111, being held this October 11th-13th, will feature some of the most revered acts in all of hard rock and heavy metal. Show headliners Lynyrd Skynyrd, Guns N’ Roses and Def Leppard will also be joined by veteran outfits such as Slayer, Deftones, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Gojira, Anthrax, Ghost, Killswitch Engage, Nothing More, Alter Bridge and Ministry to name but a few.
It’s worth noting that Slayer will be performing their final show ever in the Rocky Top State with their set also potentially being their final U.S. Festival appearance ever. Sacramento, California based Deftones appearance at EXIT 111 will also be the only East Coast show the band will play in all of 2019.
The festival will also serve as a jumping off point for many up and coming acts in the world of hard rock and heavy metal such as the politically charged Fever 333, New Zealand upstarts Alien Weaponry, the buzz worthy Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown and southern rockers, Bishop Gunn, who are coming off a recent opening slot for the legendary Rolling Stones.
EXIT 111 festival goers will also have the opportunity to blow off some steam away from the lighted stages via the multitude of activities and experiences the festival’s organizers have cooked up for the masses.
One of the most highly anticipated curiosities not specifically tied to music for festival attendees to take in will be the Paranormal Cirque. Best described as a devilishly macabre take on Cirque de Soleil fans will be entertained by a myriad of performers that include plate spinners, magicians, comedians, zombies and even a wheel of death.
For those folks seeking a more traditional adrenaline rush, EXIT 111 will also be hosting the Red Bull Freestyle Motocross Team where X-Games superstar Tyler Bereman and his band of daredevil misfits will be pulling off all types of high-flying and jaw-dropping stunts throughout the weekend.
Additionally should EXIT 111 festival goers want a little down time away from the main stages and the music they’ll be able to meander over to both the Mega Sports Bar and the Exotic Car Show throughout all three days of the event.
Both single-day and three-day tickets, as well as on-site camping and parking passes, are still on sale but they’re going fast. There are three level of tickets still available for purchase on-line starting with the standard general admission variety.
All general admission tickets grant attendees access to the festival and all its standard amenities. Three-day general admission tickets are now running $205 while single-day entry tickets are now selling for $99.
Should you want to live a little larger while attending EXIT 111 festival organizers are offering both VIP and what they are calling “Platinum” tickets. VIP ticket holders will get access to reserved and premium stage and festival experience seats and viewing areas as well as access to the festival’s numerous VIP Lounges.
Platinum ticket holders will have access to everything VIP tickets holders do plus perks such as as pit viewing access at the main stages, reserved viewing at all stages on the festival’s grounds, a dinner buffet and even a golf cart shuttle service to essentially use as their personal taxis as they traverse from stage to stage.
