Israeli riff kings ELEPHANT HIVE will tour Australia for their second time in July on the back of their Buffs album.

Elephant Hive have recently toured all through Israel, Russia, Europe, Australia and Japan. The band combines African sounds and rhythms with alternative Indie punk rock which creates a fused stoner prog rock style.
Discussing Israel’s music scene, Elephant Hive attributes the lack of well known Israeli bands to do the language barrier. “There’s only a handful of Israeli Hebrew-singing acts that tour outside the country on a normal basis. On the other hand, in Israel the scene is quite vibrant with its deeply-rooted punk-rock division, metal kids and stoner rock community that have only started to bloom recently. This has been led by the success of local label Reality Rehab Records.

The tour will take them all over the country including an appearance at 4000 capacity heavy festival Dead of Winter in Brisbane (feat. Cog, Mammal, Nick Oliveri (Kyuss/QOTSA), Svetlanas (RUS) and more) as well as headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide.
