Following on from the fury of Breakdown, one of New Zealand’s finest rock exports, Ekko Park, recently released their second single for 2022 in the shape of Violent Silent.
A music video for the track has now been released. Frontman Joe Walsh says of the clip “The words came for this song like a lyrical scrapbook. That’s kind of how I explained them to myself. And this is what we told Sam who created the video. We shot some old VHS live footage of Jessie’s first show with us. We hung out and shot some polaroids. Trying to capture a range of emotions. We love how Sam ran with it and pieced this video together. A visual scrapbook of early 2022 Ekko Park.”
