Heavy rock/alt-metal band East York have released their latest single To Kill The Sun ahead of their debut EP Origins which will be out January 21, 2022.
Packed with heavy grooves and a dance floor filler chorus, the track carries an uplifting message of holding onto courage amongst life’s turmoil.
“To Kill The Sun is about summoning strength of character in the face of loss and trial”, says East York vocalist Tarquin Keys. “It’s about knowing and backing oneself when it seems like your current world is collapsing.”
Written with the live show in mind, the track has an infectious energy that will see audiences across New Zealand and Australia unable to stop dancing at the upcoming East York EP release tour in 2022.
