Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme of Eagles of Death Metal sat down with Vice Magazine to speak about the attacks at their recent show at the Bataclan in Paris. The full interview will be available next week. Here’s a snippet of the emotional interview below.
“Several people hid in our dressing room, and the killers were able to get in and killed every one of them except for a kid who was hiding under my leather jacket,” Hughes says in the clip.
“People were playing dead, and they were so scared,” Hughes goes on to say. “A great reason why so many were killed is because so many people wouldn’t leave their friends. So many people put themselves in front of people.”
