Following on from their immensely praised release Sentimental, Sydney-based indie-punk band Down For Tomorrow have kicked off 2022 with their searing new single Dark Comedy.
Exploring the heavier elements of the group’s refined punk sound, Dark Comedy is permeated with minacious drums, distorted bass and invasive guitars. The dynamic contrast between verses and choruses denotes a skilful array of tension and release, while the alterable vocals highlight the track’s satirical qualities.
