Brisbane Metalcore outfit Diskust are headed North to spread carnage, with the Resurfaced FNQ Tour announced today.
Diskust have been decimating local crowds since 2017 and have now set their sights on Cairns with two shows planned on November 13 and 14.
With a live show that epitomizes all that is metal, Diskust have shared the stage with bands such as King Parrot, Frankenbok and Segression and “never fail to entertain, connecting with the crowd in a way that transcends the common disdain that punctuates most heavy metal performances in the modern age” (HEAVY Mag).
After releasing their latest single “Resurfaced” last month, Diskust feel honour bound to extend their reach to the Far North of Queensland and will be bringing with them local metal outfit Void Matter for a one-two punch that is guaranteed to knock out even the most hardened music critic.
Their first victory lap will be at AJ Hacketts in Smithfield as part of a special Friday 13th party, with Meat Bikini, Bigfoot Mafia, Only Ghosts Remain and Snakeoyl joining the parade, while Saturday, November 14 will see the German Club in Cairns fall victim to the Southern onslaught.
Joining Diskust and Void Matter for that show will be Forest, Bigfoot Mafia and Wasabi Barbie.
Tickets for the AJ Hackett Friday 13th show can be bought on the door. Doors open at 5pm.
Tickets for the German Club (Saturday November 14) – 57 Winkworth Street, Bungalow – can be bought on the door for $10 with doors opening at 6 pm.
