Californian brutal death label New Standard Elite has signed Brisbane’s Disentomb to their roster.
Releasing a statement, “NSE is very excited and humbled that DISENTOMB is now flying the NSE banner”.
As we reported last week, the band completed their line-up with the addition of Perth bassist Jim Parker.
Regarding their new deal with NSE the band say’s “We are beyond stoked to now be a part of the New Standard Elite family – a label that is so dedicated to the underground. You only have to listen to the previous stellar releases by them to know they are fast becoming the best label for pure, uncompromising brutality. It is awesome to now be on a label with plans for the future as big as Disentomb’s.”
A new album is scheduled for a late 2013, early 2014 release and the band will soon also have some new merchandise available. A free 2012 hardcopy promo will be sent with each order.
