Sydney-based nu-metal/hardcore group Deficit return with their rage-fuelled new single FYA, featuring Jay Webster of Texas rap-metal outfit UNITYTX. FYA fuses Deficit’s hardcore edge with UNITYTX’s confrontational rap-metal energy, and exemplifies the synergy between the two. Calling it how they see it, Deficit explain: “We notice a lot of bands spend so much time and energy taking themselves so seriously without actually having anything to say or any real experience to draw from.”
