A lot has changed for Norwegian death metal band DECEPTION since the release of their last EP. The band entered the writing process for their new album, The Mire, with a completely blank canvas when it came to songs and also no bassist.
However when HEAVY Magazine’s Dave Griffiths recently sat down with the band’s frontman Sindre he said that was actually the best thing for the band. He said he feels that this time around the song-writing is better and with new bassist, Stian Gundersen from Blood Red Throne, aboard the sound is something out of this world.
