Sydney-based alt-rock sweethearts Days Like These release groovy new belter SOURPUSS, and will celebrate with an East Coast tour supporting Those Who Dream with Peni Parker in October.
Releasing off the back of March’s Show Me Love, their most successful single yet, SOURPUSS continues Days Like These exploration of pop-infused rock music. With radio-ready hooks and dynamic vocal performances, the young band resume their pursuit to bridge the gap between alternative guitar-based music and pop-leaning groove.
Produced, mixed and mastered with Chris Lalic, (Windwaker), the fresh new offering explores the theme of duality, with frontman Callen Batson explaining: “Like with anything else in this life, there is a give and take; a push and pull of feelings that we try our best to moderate but often struggle with, just like everyone else. As we’ve grown to be known for, we tied together these themes with frisky, tongue-in-cheek storytelling.”
