After causing quite a stir by announcing Australian metal royalty King Parrot (Melbourne) will headline the upcoming Dark Down South Open Air Fest over November 22,23 and 24, Jamart Sound Lounge have now dropped the full lineup.
“We wanted to hold on to some surprises and announce a few bands at a time, to build the excitement, but the demand was so huge we just dropped the whole list at once,” they said.
The inaugural Dark Down South features the full gamut of metal genres from classic 80’s to thrash, grindcore and groove metal and everything in between. The festival will showcase some of the very best metal talent in Western Australia, supported by King Parrot, and another of Australia’s favourite thrash bands who recently played at Wacken Open Air fest in Germany – Hidden Intent from Adelaide.
The line-up also includes well known Perth and regional WA metal acts alongside some carefully hand-picked emerging bands:
All This Filth – Perth
Kimura – Perth
Dying Degree – Perth
Dripped – Perth/Donnybrook
Psychonaut – Perth/Bridgetown
Bloodhunt – Perth
DeadHorse – Pinjarra
Decapitated Chooks – Harvey
Innasanatorium – Bunbury
King Zog – Perth
The Subject Zero – Bunbury
Sub Radiant – Perth
