HEAVY fell in love with Melbourne outfit Crispy Danger the moment they sent in their debut single, Outta Control. A refreshing blend of rock, metal and darkwave – described as sounding like “a heavy metal disco” by the band – Outta Control introduced the world to Crispy Danger and ensured they were welcomed with open arms.
The only possible blight on the band’s scoresheet is their absence in the live arena, with Crispy Danger assuring us that when the right opportunity came up, that would be rectified. And come up it has, as Crispy Danger takes to the stage at Melbourne’s Cherry Bar this Saturday, July 18, supporting local rock legends Chasing Lana, who are wrapping up a three-date tour promoting their new EP State Of Mind.
