Corey Taylor‘s debut solo offering has finally seen the light of day, with CMFT out now.
CMFT sees Taylor explore a multitude of genres, most notable staying away from the sound for which he has built his name with Slipknot.
A collection of songs that spans his professional career and beyond, Taylor tries his hand at styles from hard rock to classic rock, punk rock to hip hop and everything in between.
It is not so much a collection of songs as it is a subtle reminder of the musical expanses that go into creating an individual’s tastes and shapes their musical output.
Each single dropped from the album to date has differed markedly from the one before and on CMFT this eclectic nature of music continues, with Taylor backed up by Christian Martucci (guitar), Zach Throne (guitar), Jason Christopher (bass), and Dustin Robert (drums).
