Heavy rockers from Townsville Qld, Colloidal Silver have just released a brand new song and the four members are totally stoked with how it sounds.
Clocking in at just over 9 minutes Blood n My Bone is an epic journey that’s filled with giant slabs of downtuned guitar riffs, grinding, groove heavy drum and bass and melodically gritty and uplifting vocals that tell a heartfelt and relatable story.
The track was recorded at DNA Music in Townsville by the very competent Luke Shredder who has recorded a wide range of Townsville bands over the years and also worked on Colloidal Silver’s previous releases as well.
The song is about singer/songwriter Dylski’s two sons and his strong connection with them.
The lyrics focus on his continuing bond with the two of them now that they’re independent and living their own lives. It’s not just the same blood that flows in their viens – they’re made of the same bone as well.
