The countdown to MIDGE URE’s Australian return is officially on, with the acclaimed musician and songwriter set to kick things off on the West Coast this October.
Bringing an extensive catalogue of hits from across one of music’s very accomplished careers to Australian fans, MIDGE URE’s upcoming shows are selling fast. The first show of the Australian run, at Perth’s Astor Theatre, has completely sold out, and as final tickets for his East Coast run continue to fly, fans are urged to snap theirs up quickly.
Touring Australia for the first time since 2020, MIDGE URE’s return is an overdue one for longtime fans; as part of these shows, he will be performing cuts from his lauded solo career as well as hits from his time in groups including ULTRAVOX, THE RICH KIDS, THIN LIZZY and VISAGE.
Also announced today is the news that noted musician COLE STACEY will be joining MIDGE URE at all shows on the Australian tour. Stacey himself is an acclaimed artist, whose work has taken him around the world, blending genres from folk through to synth-pop and more.
