Truly one of the most enduring names in the scene, Sydney-hailing rock trio Cog‘s trajectory has spanned chart success, countless tours, two J Award nominations and a fan base that transcends generations against the ever-changing landscape of the music industry and the world at large.
Recently ticking off a largely sold out and extensive Australian tour in 2024, along with releasing some of their material for the first time ever on vinyl, it’s in 2025 that Cog ascend into yet another brand new chapter, confirming today the upcoming release of their first new music since 2019: a new single Walk The Line due out on Friday 26 September, as well as the announcement today of some special headline shows this November and December.
In honour of the upcoming release of Walk The Line, Cog will tick off headline shows starting in Cairns on Friday 28 November, before heading to Townsville, Mackay, Newcastle, Caloundra, Adelaide and a closing show in Byron Bay on Saturday 20 December. Cog will also be performing this December as part of the Bird’s Robe 15th Birthday Tour on Friday 5 December in Brisbane, Friday 12 December in Melbourne and Sunday 14 December in Sydney.
