Cobain on Cobain – Interviews and Encounters – Book Release

Share This:

Cobain on Cobain tells the story of Nirvana through Kurt’s own words, drawn from the most comprehensive compendium of interviews ever published. His Nirvana band mates are cited too, but it is Cobain’s own uncompromising quotes that trace the definitive period from the recording of the band’s first album in 1989 to its disintegration on the European tour of 1994. All too soon afterwards, of course, Cobain’s suicide draws a line under Nirvana forever.

These interviews take the reader on an intimate journey through those five years, with the iconic Cobain reacting to the trials and triumphs of each tour, to each change of fortune and each new release, all the way to the shocking end.

Author Nick Soulsby has written other Nirvana books including, I Found My Friends: The Oral History of Nirvana, and he is also the co-author of Dark Slivers: Seeing Nirvana in the Shards of Incesticide. His website www.nirvana-legacy.com is widely seen as an invaluable Nirvana resource. The book will be available from 20 June 2016 from all good bookstores.
