Melbourne lads, and one of our finest prog exports Circles, have just released a new song titled Sand & Wind. This is the band’s first new release since 2013’s Infinitas. Sand & Wind is the first single off their new album, which will be released sometime in 2016. The band launch their brand new single at The Workers Club in Fitzroy on 1 April with the mighty Teramaze (No Foolin’!)
Circles have kept themselves busy since their 2013 release, touring with bands such as Dillinger Escape Plan, Monuments, After The Burial and taking up a slot on the Euroblast Festival. The band’s drummer Dave Hunter was positive and excited about the future for the band. “We’ve been bunkered down for just over 12 months writing and recording our second (yet to be titled) full length album. One thing we all agreed on was that we didn’t want to write ‘Infinitas 2.0’. Without giving too much away, this will be a side of Circles that people wouldn’t have heard before and we’re really excited about it!”
