March 2 marks the date for the return of hardcore on the Sunshine Coast.
Kicking off at 6pm at The Presynct, Nambour, Chaotic Uprising is set to bring six bands from across the Australian east coast together for one night of metal mayhem. Headlining the event are the upcoming hardcore bad boys from Newcastle, Grip Down, followed by Southport and Gold Coast heavy hitters in Blindside and Consequence. Also featuring on the line-up is Sunny Coast’s finest and heaviest bands Rimmy Grasa and Flesh Torrent plus Nambour’s heaviest legends The 5’th Column.
Chaotic Uprising marks the first local Sunshine Coast event organised by Rimmy Grasa in partnership with Namcore. Rimmy Grasa is a Sunshine Coast-based hardcore band working with the local new Namcore storefront out in Nambour. One of the main goals of the mini-festival is to build on the local music scene and help build the Sunshine Coast metal community. As well as aiming to invigorate and inspire, Chaotic Uprising is also welcome to all alternative music lovers. The intimate venue will bring live hardcore chaos to a new level.
“Chaotic uprising – set to be another solid lineup of heavy bands, full of talent and ready to leave their mark on the Nambour pavement, this is going to be another show for the history pages,” Dam Kel – Namcore.
