Melbourne based Captives launch their heaviest release to date with Shadow Cat.
Collaborating with renowned heavy icon, Ryo Kinoshita (KNOSIS), Shadow Cat sees the band take an exciting turn into unchartered waters.
Fresh from signing with Asia-based Ichigo Records, the band went to work on new music, again teaming up with producer Tyson Fish (Vance joy, Children Collide, Mammal) and mastering by Forrester Savell (Karnivool, Make Them Suffer, Twelve Foot Ninja).
“The new direction is exciting. Getting to collaborate with Ryo who we are all big fans of, was a big buzz. The team we have around us right now are driving us in the right direction and there are exciting things on the horizon,” Matthew Damon (drummer).
