Canadian hardcore punk upstarts Cancer Bats kicked off their first Australian tour since 2019 last Thursday night at the Brightside in Brisbane with local openers Strange Fiction and PistonFist, as well as national supports FANGZ.
Cancer Bats frontman Liam Cormier and Joshua Cottreau from FANGZ joined HEAVY just after soundcheck to talk about the tour, the band’s mutual history, new music from FANGZ and more.
