Buried In A Battlefield is a British solo project, with a catalogue of songs expanding across genres like: hardcore, metalcore, emo and pop punk.
Over 9 years, two homemade LPs and a collection of singles, Buried In A Battlefield is back with a new song – 419. 419 released in June and explores the theme of falling in love with someone already close to you, and the panic of “is this going to destroy what we’ve built?” There’s a lot of vulnerability and honesty in this track, exploring the feelings of doubt and love in the switch ups of style and intensity throughout the track.
“I’m hoping to have a story with this song being the starting point of this tale and ending over maybe the length of an EP? This tale will explore those nice moments of love contrasting with the anguish of heartbreak and relationship struggles.”
There is no update on when this EP will be released, but if 419 is a taster of what is to come in this planned work, it’s going to be heavy and filled with grit and truth.
