BUKOWSKI Drop New Track ‘One Hundred Seconds’

Share This:

It may have been a while between drinks for Melbourne emo-punk outfit Bukowski, but today the band make their explosive and eagerly awaited comeback with the punchy new single One Hundred Seconds.

Engineered, produced, mixed and mastered by Jack Newlyn (Paradise Club / Between You & Me), Bukowski’s newest offering is, as the title suggests, just under two minutes of relentless energy, ferocious vocals and blistering riffs. Frontman James Karagiozis reveals the track emerged from an evening jam session, fuelled by the idea of writing something “fast”.

“The lyrics just flowed out – maybe it had something to do with the headspace I was in at the time,” says Karagiozis. “I was questioning everything, wondering if I was truly living or just existing. Looking back, I think it was a subliminal message to myself – a call to grab life by the horns and experience it to the fullest. Whatever that means for you, go for it, head first!”
