Bring Me The Horizon have released Count Your Blessings | Repented, the fully re-recorded 20th anniversary edition of their landmark debut album, available now on vinyl, cassette and all streaming platforms.
Originally released in 2006, Count Your Blessings became one of the defining records of modern heavy music, introducing a generation of fans to deathcore and laying the foundations for one of the most influential bands of the last two decades. Twenty years on, the Sheffield band return to where it all began, re-recording the album from the ground up with frontman Oli Sykes and guitarist Lee Malia, alongside acclaimed producer and mixer Buster Odeholm.
Talking about the record, Oli said, “I think a lot of people think that we hate that record or are embarrassed by it because we don’t play it. Really, we were just always disappointed with how it sounded. It was never about rewriting history. It was about making the record we’d always heard in our heads.”
