Set Me Free explores themes of isolation and the hopelessness caused by intrusive thoughts. The song
wears its vulnerability on its sleeve, but smartly twists that outwardly with lyrics like “Feed You To The
Pigs/Let Them Tear You Apart” and Juxtaposes it with a call for help in its main Verse lines “I can’t Be
Any Louder/Can Someone Please Hear Me”.
