BOUNTY HUNTERS Share The Love

Share This:

Sydney blues-rock outfit Bounty Hunters are legendary on the local circuit, with their blending of old fashioned rock and blues appealing to a broad musical spectrum.

Lead guitarist David Hinds recently lent his talents to New Zealand band Electric Universe on their latest single “Right On Time” and joined HEAVY earlier this week to discuss that collaboration and what is happening in the Bounty Hunters camp.

“It came about alot due to the fact that both bands are signed to MR Records,” he said of his guest appearance. “I was contacted by Peter and Pete from MR Records to see if I would be interested in guesting on lead guitar on this track and I said sure. They sent it and I liked what I heard. It’s got some good strong guitar riffs in it and I love a good guitar riff (laughs). We base a lot of our Bounty Hunters music on guitar riffs so it had good riffs, was a good song and I liked the sound of it which was classic hard rock and I thought I could definitely fit in here. I put down my track and sent it over to the guys and they loved it so that’s how it all came about. I shot a little bit of video footage here at home for them to slot into their film clip and now it’s released and going really well.”

In the full interview David talks about how much creative freedom an artist has on guest collaborations, Bounty Hunters recent signing to MR Records, the changes renowned Aussie drummer Mick O’Shea brought with him when he became part of the Bounty Hunters family, the ability of music to transcend decades, new Bounty Hunters music and more.
