Boundaries unveil May this pain never leave, from Yearning: the unbeautiful after (July 17, Sumerian Records), accompanied by a blistering performance video.
Directed by the band’s longtime photographer/videographer, Sarah Holick, the video was filmed at The Webster Underground in their hometown of Hartford, Conn., where Boundaries thanked fans who attended the shoot with an intimate performance following filming.
“The premise of the song is laid out very plainly and intentionally,” Matthew McDougal notes. “It exists as an extension of the Colin Parkes quote: ‘The pain of grief is just as much a part of life as the joy of love; it is, perhaps, the price we pay for love, the cost of commitment.’”
