A masterclass in juxtaposition, the track pairs face-melting, world-class musicianship with the existential weight of being a middle-aged headbanger. Fronted by pro-am snake milker Dave Eastgate (vocals) and real estate mogul Daniel Steffe (lead guitar), Boner Contention operates on one unifying mission statement: “Boner Contention is a hamstring-pulling, prostate-probing love letter to everything that makes hard music hard.”
Heavy Metal Heaven is the anthem the metal world didn’t know it needed. The song boasts incredible riffs, arena-shattering drums, and ripping guitar solos, but it’s the lyrical honesty that sets the band apart. Boner Contention boldly explores the collective midlife crisis of five men who refuse to accept that heavy metal peaked when they were fifteen.
