Following the explosive releases of their tracks Heavy Metal Heaven and the crushing hangover anthem Death March, Gold Coast-based metal madmen Boner Contention are bringing their heavily medicated onslaught to the live stage. The band will be tearing up Mo’s Desert Clubhouse in Burleigh Heads on Friday, November 20 for a monumental hometown gig dubbed The Hard Launch.
Fans are encouraged to pop some anti-inflammatories, stretch their lower backs, and prepare for a vulgar display of rechargeable power. Fronted by pro-am snake milker Dave Eastgate and real estate mogul Daniel Steffe, the five-piece will be delivering a live set fuelled by tendon-twisting riffs, back-aching beats, and the sort of dark-web muscle relaxers usually reserved for ageing racehorses.
To ensure the pit is adequately prepped, Boner Contention will be joined by a massive lineup of legendary local bands. Support for the night includes Head 1st, Heavy Sunday and Tailor Made Rejects.To celebrate the carnage, the band is currently running a VIP Giveaway on their social media.
