Formed in Sydney in 1973, AC/DC has become a global phenomenon, with their distinct brand of rock ‘n’ roll, they have influenced countless artists and shaped the landscape of rock music. AC/DC’s line-up has evolved over the years, but the core of the band has always been brothers Angus Young (lead guitarist) and Malcolm Young (rhythm guitarist), along with the unforgettable vocals of Bon Scott and later Brian Johnson. From classics like Highway to Hell and Back in Black to their recent releases, AC/DC continues to captivate audiences with their timeless rock anthems and unrivalled energy.
One of the world’s greatest AC/DC tribute shows, Bon But Not Forgotten, honour the inconic rock legends in Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne. Adelaide’s show commemorates the 77th birthday of the legendary, Bon Scott and features Skenie (The Poor) on vocals, James Morley (Ex-The Angels) on guitar, Bobby Poulton (Wolfmother) on bass, and Dave Kerby (Queen Orchestrated) on drums.
Celebrating exactly 50 years from the day AC/DC first performed at Chequers in Goulburn Street in 1973, Bon But Not Forgotten have also put together 2 Massive shows at Sydney’s iconic Bridge Hotel (Dec 30) and Melbourne’s Home of Rock – The Corner Hotel (Dec 31).
This lineup will feature James Morley (The Angels) on Guitar, Cynthia Gallie on vocals, Kevin Hunt (Truck & Back In Black) on bass, Rohan Moran (Back In Black) on guitar, and Gregg Aldridge (Blood Sweat & Beers) on drums.
Hailed as “one of the best AC/DC tribute bands going around” by HEAVY Mag, Bon But Not Forgotten has, once again, assembled some of the world’s greatest rockers to rip through a set of AC/DC classics, the iconic hits, and to pay tribute to the iconic first voice legend behind one of the world’s greatest bands, AC/DC.
