After suffering the fate of many other festivals around the world last year, it seems like the organisers of Blacken Open Air have vowed to make this years line up even better than ever to make up for lost time.
Headlined by Thy Art Is Murder, Psycroptic and Amyl And The Sniffers, Blacken brings bands and fans from all over the nation to celebrate rock, metal and punk music in the Dead Centre of the country.
The festival runs across three nights and is recognized as one of the premiere Australian festivals, all set in a unique and spectacular location away from the troubles and restrictions of the big city environment.
The first announcement is rounded out by Shepherds Reign, Southeast Desert Metal, Clowns, Lo!, Claim The Throne, Witchskull, Ruins, SNAKES, Black Rheno, POTION, Mountain Wizard Death Cult, DEAD, Descend To Acheron, The Furor, Astrodeath, DAWN, NGLAH, Writhing, The Neptune Power Federation, FUXACHE, DisKust, Diploid and The Holy Dimes.
