THE BLACK QUEEN Announce Debut Australian Dates with Support from DRAB MAJESTY

Share This:

The Black Queen is an electronic act out of Los Angeles consisting of Greg Puciato (The Dillinger Escape Plan), Joshua Eustis (Telefon Tel Aviv, ex-Nine Inch Nails), and Steven Alexander (former tech of both The Dillinger Escape Plan and Nine Inch Nails). Harnessing 80s-inspired pop sensibilities, as well as a more minimal ambient side, the band is far removed from the chaos of Puciato’s former outfit. Founded in 2015, they released their debut record Fever Daydream to underground acclaim in 2016, and live appearances thus far have been extremely limited. Joining them for also their first-ever Australian shows will be like-minded LA two piece Drab Majesty, whose darkwave/post-punk sounds are highlighted by a colourful and androgynous approach that is most remarkably evident on 2017’s The Demonstration. Tickets go on sale Friday 15 June. This is one show you do not want to miss!
