SABATON
SABATON (@sabatonofficial) released in October their much-anticipated 11th studio album LEGENDS. It features the latest single and accompanying video, I, Emperor, based on the complex and controversial Napoleon Bonaparte and is a boardgamer meets Napoleon-themed video.
Throughout the album, SABATON—Joakim Brodén (vocals), Pär Sundström (bass), Chris Rörland (guitar), Thobbe Englund (guitar), Hannes Van Dahl (drums)—delve into some of history’s greatest and most loved characters such as Jeanne D’arc (also known as Joan of Arc), Hannibal, Genghis Khan, Vlad the Impaler, Julius Caesar, the Knights Templar, and the legendary swordmaster Miyamoto Musashi.
For the album’s sixth single, I, Emperor, the band is setting their sights on the complex and controversial Napoleon Bonaparte, who rose to fame during the French Revolution and became a hero after his Italian campaign. He took power as First Consul, then crowned himself Emperor. Known for his brilliant military tactics, he beat major European powers in battles like Austerlitz and Rivoli. He also reformed laws with the Napoleonic Code, but his ambition caught up with him after a failed invasion of Russia and defeat at Waterloo, and he was exiled.

Multi-platinum hard rock powerhouse FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH (@5fdp) is celebrating their 20th anniversary with the release of two definitive greatest hits collections: Best Of – Volume 1 (released in July) and Best Of – Volume 2 (OUT NOW). Both albums feature newly re-recorded versions of 5FDP’s biggest anthems, created in response to the sale of the original song masters—made without the band’s knowledge or opportunity to reclaim them.
Instead of remixing or remastering, 5FDP turned the setback into a positive by fully re-recording fan favourites across two volumes—both as a tribute to the songs and the fans who’ve stood with them over two decades. While honouring the originals and those who helped create them, the band brings renewed intensity to tracks like Sham Pain, Blue On Black, Trouble, and Burn MF. Together, the two collections pay respect to the past while reintroducing the music for a new era. YELLOWCARD
Alt rock favorites Yellowcard have celebrated the release of their new album in almost a decade, Better Days. The lead single and title track Better Days brought the band’s return back in a huge way, scoring them their first ever number one on alternative radio, twenty-two years after their first radio appearance, ending the longest wait for a first leader at the format. This highly anticipated album is executive produced by Travis Barker, who also plays drums on every song.
The latest lyric video from the album for the song called You Broke Me Too featuring Avril Lavigne. Of the song, Lavigne says, “My friend Travis Barker called me up to say he was producing the new Yellowcard album, and I really liked what I heard. When he played me You Broke Me Too I liked how it can be an anthem people can relate to when finding hope after a relationship.”
NOTHING MORE
In October, NOTHING MORE (@nothingmoremusic) released two new music pieces, with one being their interpretation of We’re in This Together by Nine Inch Nails. It’s a song that has always held great meaning for the boundary-pushing alternative metal band—Jonny Hawkins (vocals), Mark Vollelunga (guitar), Daniel Oliver (bass), and Ben Anderson (drums)—and one they in fact started recording 11 years ago before being sidetracked by creating their own music.
“‘We’re in This Together’ sounds like a love song colliding with a war cry,” says frontman Jonny Hawkins. “Alan Watts [the British American writer and orator] once said that ‘you are the universe experiencing itself’—and this song embodies that truth. It’s us against the world, and this song is my inner monologue.”

THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS (@redjumpsuitapparatus) released their sixth album X’s For Eyes along with their latest video, Perfection. Against an intense driving rhythm and a big, urgent melody, lead vocalist, guitarist, and founding member Ronnie Winter candidly lays his cards on the table, singing “I like stormy weather” and that “Whatever won’t break can make us” with his signature wide-ranging voice.
Winter points out that Perfection is “a song about perfect imperfections, about embracing one’s flaws and the true beauty that lies within. It’s a song about individuality, self-acceptance, and the idea that our scars and imperfections make us who we are. Through the lens of perfectly imperfect, what some might consider to be mistakes, flaws, and shortcomings suddenly become good, beautiful, even desirable. Hard-hitting country rocker CORY MARKS (@corymarksmusic) released his fourth album SORRY FOR NOTHING VOLUME 2 and its anthemic third single, Whiskey River, The release of SORRY FOR NOTHING VOLUME 2 comes as MARKS’ debut breakout 2019 hit Outlaws & Outsiders (featuring Ivan Moody, Mick Mars, and Travis Tritt) has officially been certified Gold by the RIAA in the U.S., marking his first-ever certification in the States.

THE RASMUS (@therasmusofficial) teamed up with Theory of A Deadman’s lead singer Tyler Connolly, and released an exciting new version of THE RASMUS’ powerful outsider anthem Creatures of Chaos.
”Tyler [Connolly] is an amazing singer and he added a new dimension to the song,” says frontman Lauri Ylönen. “This song is one of our best from the new album, and it’s so cool that it gets some spotlight now.”
