Better Noise Music, home to bands including Five Finger Death Punch, The HU, Dirty Heads, Nothing More, Bad Wolves, Asking Alexandria and many more, have released their latest edition of The NOISE, their monthly trailer highlighting the label’s newest music. This month, the trailer features:

Multi-platinum hard rock powerhouse FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH announced the digital deluxe edition of AFTERLIFE, their critically acclaimed ninth studio album. Set for digital release in early 2024, the deluxe version will include the original 12 tracks recorded in addition to four bonus tracks: three acoustic versions of the album’s songs The End, Judgement Day, and Thanks For Asking plus a brand new song, This Is The Way featuring the late rapper DMX.

Gold-certified British rock frontrunners ASKING ALEXANDRIA are kickstarting the new year with a new EP highlighting the debut single, Dark Void, from their 2023 critically acclaimed album WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE? The DARK VOID EP features five tracks including the original version of Dark Void along with a new radio edit, a stripped-down piano version, and a Sullivan King-remixed version. The emotive and empowering single relates to those battling with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and loneliness, while acknowledging the strength it takes to confront one’s inner demons and fight off negative thoughts.

“Blue Monday was Monday, January 15,” relays bassist SAM BETTLEY. “Unfortunately, it’s that time of the year again where a lot of us, including myself, are facing depression, anxiety, and loneliness. I can’t stress enough how much music has helped me through these dark times. Our song ‘Dark Void’ gives an insight into how crippling these feelings can be. So put it on, turn it up, and let it be a reminder that you aren’t alone, and together we can make it through!”

Platinum-certified hard rock outfit BAD WOLVES have sharpened their sound with the scathing new single Knife. The track features scream vocals from vocalist/guitarist AJ Rebollo (ex-ISSUES), who recently appeared on tour filling in on guitars for Bad Wolves on their winter 2023 tour dates with Bush and Eva Under Fire.

“Feels good to be able to be the kind of band that one day works on a ballad and the next works on a song that is this heavy,” shares DL. “Sometimes it’s fun to ‘prove’ that you can still write an ass beater. It’s exciting to be able to incorporate another powerful dynamic into Bad Wolves’ arsenal with AJ’s vocal style and riffs.”

AJ: “I had the amazing opportunity to get into the studio recently and work on the new track ‘Knife’ with them, and I’m very pumped for everyone to hear the vocals we put together. Cheers to the future!”

Critically acclaimed, 3x-Grammy-nominated rock mainstays NOTHING MORE ignite 2024 with their emotionally riveting and cathartic new single If It Doesn’t Hurt. Focusing on the hard truths of a fractured and toxic romantic relationship, NOTHING MORE have teamed up with director Orie McGinness (Bad Omens, Spiritbox) to emphasize the song’s impassioned lyrical content and potent music with a new music video.

“Gaslighting, manipulation, narcissistic deceit and betrayal… this song was written while trapped and is sung now while free,” exclaims NOTHING MORE frontman Jonny Hawkins. “If you’re in a toxic relationship and are waiting for a sign to get out…this is it.”

Southern California alternative rock outfit DIRTY HEADS are excited to share a new video with a live- recorded version of their hit single John Linen which features rapper Yelawolf.

“We were stoked to have Yelawolf on tour with us,” shares vocalist JARED WATSON. “He puts on a great show and knows how to have a good time. So, we invited him up to run a verse, and he delivered a moment that was one of the highlights of the show and tour.”

“It was such an honor sharing the stage with Yelawolf, he absolutely murdered this verse,” says guitarist DUDDY B. “I’m glad we were able to capture this moment live for y’all.”

According to singer-songwriter CORY MARKS, 2024 will be A Different Kind Of Year, as the dual-genre artist leans into his country side for his latest single. The rousing track was written post-pandemic as a feel-good anthem and was produced by longtime collaborator Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch, Shania Twain). A Different Kind Of Year will be included on MARKS’ forthcoming sophomore album, due later this year.

“It’s the start of a brand-new year, a chance for you to start fresh, refocus and see what is really important in this life,” shares MARKS. “This new song is all about good times, re-connecting with family and friends. Committing to yourself to make things better in the year ahead and not taking those special things for granted. It’s a country song for country people, so cheers. Here’s to you, here’s to me and a different kind of year!”
