Such is Beat The Tumour, which will be held at Mo’s Desert Clubhouse on December 5, a full tilt metal afternoon of music to help raise money for potentially life-saving surgery for one of our own.
Jayce Johansen, guitarist for local legends Diskust, is battling a nasty growth on his brain that needs to be booted, with some of his closest musical friends combining for a benefit gig to aid his plight.
As well as Diskust, Massic, Sentiment, Empire Within, Adriatic, and the recently added Torizon will be bringing the tunes from 2 pm in a special Sunday Session for the headbangers out there!
