Vermont’s gritty progressive metal outfit Barishi are now unleashing the first track from their forthcoming album, Blood from the Lion’s Mouth. The band will release their second full-length on 16 September 2016.
Barishi comment: “Grave of the Creator came together in the middle of the album’s writing process. The majority of the song was written on an old acoustic guitar in a hundred-year-old log cabin in the middle of Maine. It’s been fun hearing its transformation since then.”
The artwork of Blood from the Lion’s Mouth was created by Brian Mercer, who has worked with bands such as Soundgarden, Eyehategod and Black Tusk.
