Sydney-based metal powerhouse Bare Bones is gearing up to shake the foundations of the heavy music scene once again with their explosive new self-titled EP, featuring latest single Cross Complex. The relentless new EP is the band’s first collection of music since their critically acclaimed 2019 LP, Rival Minds.
Bare Bones has always pushed the boundaries of their genre, and the new material is a testament to their evolution and growth as a band. The lead single Cross Complex draws inspiration from the Temple of The Cross located in the Maya site of Palenque, symbolic of ritual ascension. This theme resonates strongly within the band’s own journey, a reflection of their own rites of passage as musicians.
