Bands involved in fatal tour accident

Wormreich were on a North American tour when they were involved in a motor vehicle accident, which has resulted in the death of band members, Ian Andrew McKinney (AKA Nazgul Vathran) and Paul Truesdell.  Drummer, Christoper P. Pezzano (Profana) remains in a critical condition.

The van struck a tree when the driver of the vehicle fell asleep at the wheel of the 15 passenger van.  The other bands involved in the accident was Khaotika, and as a result, Nicholas R. Crisostomo was also killed in the accident.

A Facebook statement from Wormreich founder, vocalist/guitarist Christopher Earl Pyle (a.k.a. Vulk), reads as follows: “This morning I lost my brother and best friend, along with two awesome people that I was lucky to have even known for a short while. Two of my other brothers remain in critical condition. Somehow I was spared with only superficial wounds and a dislocated shoulder.

“This is not the end of WORMREICH. It’s always been my vision, but more importantly, it is for those whom I have lost today that it MUST continue.

“Please send healing energy to the members of WORMREICH, KHAOTIKA and their families. Ave.”

We send our condolences to the bands, their family, friends and fans. R.I.P.
