Darker and rawer, “Immersion” is the first piece of new material from four-piece Autism since early 2019, when the last album Have you found peace? was released.
It is one of a few planned singles that will eventually fall into place on the song list of the next album.
“Immersion” is about the struggle of anxiety and self-doubt and how these emotions and states of being can become personalized. Minimalist in its composition, it aims to create an overbearing atmosphere and communicate a sense of hopelessness within waves of anxiety and temporary relief.
The song also features Andrius of Red Water on guest vocals.
